Yep. That's my new vehicle in my driveway. If you read last week's post (and I hope you did), you know I was contemplating this. It's a 2011 Kia Soul. I like it. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it (not to mention the taxes and insurance). Ah, the joys of modern life.

On another note, I'm still playing the waiting game with BTH. It's with two publishing houses and one agent and so far no word. Don't they know I'm getting old and I can't play this game like a young'un?
I vow this weekend I'm going to get some writing done. Who's with me?? Bueller. Bueller.
I get that last movie reference, at least. Not so sure about the horses.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your submissions, and congrats on your new car!
Thanks!
DeleteA new car is always exciting. Congrats. I remember the title, "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" but I haven't seen the movie. I googled it. It's about a dance marathon that results in a "mercy killing."
ReplyDeleteFunny I don't remember anything about the movie. The title has just always stuck with me. Thanks for the google. I may have to see if I can find a copy to watch now.
ReplyDeleteCute car. I hated that movie. Too depressing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute car. My dad's parents had a horse and buggy. He doesn't recommend it.
ReplyDeleteFunny about the title of that movie. I've never heard of it. Good luck with your ms.
I'm glad you found something you like! I hope it lasts for years with no serious issues.
ReplyDeleteGood luck making time. Life gets in the way, doesn't it?
Sorry for coming so late to this post, but I'm glad you have a car that suits you. Maybe they should shoot that old car (or maybe even drive it off a cliff.)
