FRIDAY STIR FRY - Oops

Pencil and questionnaire

Yep, I forgot to post last week. Hope somebody noticed.

My reason? I took off work last Friday. I needed a mental health, me day. Anyway, I post this blog while at work. (ssshhh) Don't tell anybody. So, since I was off, it totally slipped my mind. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I really need to make a to do list. Especially as Beyond The Horizon's release date gets closer. So much to think about and do. I received some publicity forms from Breathless Press that I need to complete and am expecting line edits soon. Then there is my end of the publicity spectrum I need to get going on. Like starting an author page on Facebook, sprucing up my Twitter account, sprucing up this blog. I've also been looking at promotional give away items for book signings.

In the next few weeks, I will be posting more stuff about my book. How I came up with the idea, maybe a character interview and a few excerpts. I hope it will be interesting and interactive. That's what I'm aiming for anyway.

Do you make to do lists or are you like me and muddle through and forget stuff?

  1. I forgot to make a list so I'd remember to do things. Poor Ellen had to nudge me when I forgot to get her a blog post by Wednesday. Sheesh. Good thing my head is tied on, or I'd lose it.

    1. I have a sign on my wall at home. "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most." Appropriate.

  2. With one book writing, one in the crit cycle, and crits of my own to write I have to always keep a list. If you don't, you will find yourself spinning in circles and not getting anything done.

  3. I'm constantly overwhelmed, being pulled in lots of different directions. If I didn't have to-do lists, I don't think I'd survive. On a typical day, my list has about 20 things on it. Sometimes more. I've crossed five off so far this morning. Another 16 to go. :)

  4. I'm a muddle-er. With lists I ignore.

  5. I'm a list person all the way. Lists on top of lists. Legal pads. Post-its. You name it.

  6. I'm a list person. Trouble is I sometimes forget where I put my list! I do keep a notebook in my purse and on my phone. Then there is the calendar list too. Is it any wonder I forget?

    1. I'm sure I would forget where my list was too since I can't even remember to make one!
